VAEDU 326

i'm not sure how many of you were aware, but i'm in an art class for elementary teachers (vaedu 326). haha. it's lots of fun, and we actually learn more than cheap ways to finger paint or something you'd expect elementary teachers to do with their students. instead, we actually do fun stuff... like:

visit the moa (we had to write papers tho, not so fun)

blind contour drawings

sketching/shading (which is surprisingly harder with a charcoal pencil)

bake and decorate cakes (out of clay, of course)

use food to learn about art theories (this is actually a cupcake and cookies)

there's more that we're still learning and working on, but it's lots of fun, even if i can't draw, and i'm not good at most artsy things. i'll put more pictures up as we do more. :)

big girl now!

i just signed my first off-campus housing contract today... one that i had to put a deposit down for! :) i felt so grown up. then me and my soon-to-be roommate, robin took pictures by the sign like little girls! haha! :)

that makes 5 wrights in cinnamon tree... :)
