first day of winter semester

it seems kinda weird that i am not a first semester freshman, and that i've already got one semester under my belt. i was walking to the wilk with mauri on saturday to buy my books for this semester, and we saw a ton of people walking in a semi-line. i was curious, until mauri realized that it was prolly a freshman orientation tour or something like that, and it was a little weird. but anyway... today was my first day of my second semester at byu.

today i had sfl 240 (parenting & child guidance) at 9am, and then at 11am i had ahtg 100. right after at 12 i had rela 122 (book of mormon) and finally at 3pm i had asl 101. it was kind of a busy day, but i enjoyed it. i especially enjoyed that i was done with ALL of my classes BEFORE the sun went down!!! so far i think this semester will be a good one. my sfl class seemes to be a lot of research and stuff like that, but i think it'll be doable. it was also good because i knew at least one person in every class that i had today. in my sfl class, i had a girl from my science lab last semester, kara. in ahtg, i had mauri, his roommate kyle, and another kid from mauri's hall, briggs. in bom, i had mauri, allison (girl from my hall), and derick (kid from mauri's hall). in asl, i had mauri and kirsten (girl from my hall).

for lunch, i ate at the cannon center with cami, josue, brother, meags, mauri, and marcos (mauri's brother).... nell couldn't come because she was in class (but she still can come ;D). it was so great to eat lunch with a lot of people again (big family-ness). we had to push together TWO tables to fit everyone, and it was so great. the reason why.... i had over $100 on my account, and it's supposed to cap at $100. so instead of losing money, i tried to have my siblings (who i'm sure are more than willing) use up some of my monies. anyway, i really enjoyed the meal. thanks everyone for coming and helping me use up my monies! =)

after i was COMPLETELY DONE with all my classes while the sun was still up.. =P... marcos came and picked me and mauri up to see if we could go ice skating. we weren't able to because it opens to the public from 7-9pm and it was only 5, so we went to use up our free bowling with the byu id in the wilk. it was great... i suck so bad at bowling, but i came out on top. i have yet to break 100, but i'll work my way up there. here are two pictures of the fun.

it's been such a long and exhausting day, but it felt like such a productive one. hopefully this semester will be a good one (with ahtg and science) but even if it isn't... i say... BRING IT! =P
