flowers make me happy. and friends make me happy. so making flowers and friends makes me extra happy. there's a girl who just moved into my ward from a school in north carolina. her name is nicole and she's super cool. we have a lot in common and i enjoy talking/spending time with her (she's also in luau and she's filipino, which helps in our whole things in common thing). anyway, she was doing a yarn flower when i first met her, and i told her i wanted to learn how, she said she'd teach me today, so after we ate our breakfast/lunch/dinner i went to her room and she taught me. it was fun! and it looks like it's a lot harder than it really is. all you need is a flower loom,
yarn, a plastic needle, and scissors. nicole showed me how and then i spent the next 3 hours in her room, making my own flowers and talking to her about all kinds of things. i like making new friends. =) anyway, here are the two flowers that i made tonight that makes me happy! maybe it's just because i think it'll look so cute on a headband! =) hope your sabbath was a good one!

cute! :) is she gonna teach you how to make headbands too? or do you have to figure out that part on your own...
ReplyDeleteyay! you got your post up! congratulations! very cute.
ReplyDeleteI like the blossoms you made. Flowers and friends, sounds like a wonderful combination.
ReplyDeletenell: she doesn't know how to make the headbands, but she said it shouldn't be too hard. she'll eventually teach me how to crochet, or at least that's what she said.
ReplyDeletemeags: thanks, nell helped.
dad: it really was. thanks, i actually did some more. i'll take a picture of all of them that i did sometime...
