tonight we went to nt leiola and uncle pete's 40th anniversary party at their house in anahola. we got to see all of the family (kekai, kaiana, lahaina, kahelena, mi nei, waika, wehi, and ha`aheo... with their families)...
there was ono food...
they had another "first" dance...
gma kua got to be with her siblings (uncle bennett, gma, and nt dahlia).. so cute! =P
nt leiola and her daughters danced a hula (wehi, kahelena, lahaina, nt leiola, kekai, mi nei, and ha`aheo)...
her granddaughters danced a hula...
and then urahutia productions took over. i felt like i was at the hotel or something... and i couldn't help thinking how much i would have to pay to see this if i were at a hotel. hahaha! here are a few pictures of their performances...
























Great pictures. Thanks for coming to this family event. Even if you don't talk to anyone or only Uncle Bones' family, it is important to see and be seen by your extended family. To become familiar is important. You will never know if your will need them or they will need you.
