warren's bday

i realized that this summer we've been going to more non-graduation parties than graduation parties... a first, i think. anyway, tonight was warren's (the bouche's son) party. we went to the base, with the youngs and the bouche's family friends... and we had lots of good food!
(of course i took a picture of the food! we had ribs, chicken, mac salad, rice, and green salad)
we sang happy birthday (he really didn't want it to be a "big deal" so we just sang to him, without candles in his cake).
we gave him a present. it was a shirt from hawaii. he liked it. it was good to go out... even for a little while.
lucky for us, we also got to see the sunset from the base. ahhh... i will miss this.

    That was a great day and the scheduling worked well. Mom caught the bus to Lihue, Ally and Evan work at Kauai Museum, so the four of us were able to catch the all the way to the Housing gate, then catch ride to the Bouches. Thanks Uncle Merv for getting you from our house to PMRF.
