LAST TEEN YEAR!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! :)

today, i turned 19. this year will be my last teen year... crazy huh? since reading ryanne's post about how she wonders when her birthday comes around if she's lived each year to the fullest, i decided that i liked that idea and wanted to try it out too! here are just a few of the many things that i've done, seen, heard, accomplished in my 18th year that i feel made it a fully-lived year:

won THREE different jackpots in one night

general conference in slc

received flowers on a special day

musical memories (dancing for 3 hours)

bowled over 100 in a game (111, actually)

provo youth mentoring

first double date

learned to play xbox... haha

made my first snowman/snow angel

got my first 100% on a big project paper

geocaching

did luau AND fiesta (big deal, since i can't latin dance)

fugitive

finished TWO SEMESTERS of college!!!

saw my sisters graduate from byu

watched my sister go on a mission

got a job as a teacher for summer fun

shore fishing from beach

taught in primary and sunday school

got 100% visiting teaching

went on my first road trip (to california)

ra training/ duties

saw baby born (kaleb) and grow up... a little

first live music and the spoken word

drove on the freeway BY MYSELF :P

sent my best friend on a mission

got my first 100% in the testing center! :)

grown spiritually

made it to the temple OFTEN (whoo hoo!!!)

learned a little spanish

made even more wonderful friends

all of these things and more led up to today... where the new year of my life begins. it actually started earlier with birthday wishes from nell and mauri. then yesterday, i got a birthday present that my family at home sent me. isn't the packaging just so AMAZING! :P

i thought it was cute so i had to take a picture of it! ;P

i started my actual birthday with family. i went to pick up meags and ry at the airport with brother. there i got my first "present" from her. apparently it's VERY expensive... :P

and spent the rest of the time just hanging out and watching movies with cami, josue, kaleb, brother, and meags.

mom and dad sent money so we could go eat (thanks again mom and dad!) so all of us and ryanne and sam and amy went to chuck-o-ramas to eat a birthday dinner.

we came back and they sang happy birthday to me with a rocky road birthday cake! :P

i got lots of other really cool presents (besides what mom guys sent from home):

flowers from ry and sam...

headband and hand soap from amy...

pepperdine tshirt from meags...

and a NEW DIGITAL CAMERA from cam, josue, brother, meags, and baby!

thank you to everyone for your birthday wishes, your facebook posts, your gifts, your friendships, your support, and your love. you have all blessed my life in more ways than one, and have started this new NINETEENTH year in a wonderful way! i love you all! xoxo
